The lettuce tureen and stand are reproduced from originals in Chatsworth Castle and have long been favorites in the Mottahedeh line. The highly decorative item is a charming example of the work of early English potteries. Rococo tureens in the shape of fruits, vegeatables or animals were popular in the 18th century.
